Overview

Qualifications

American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (AART) certification as a Radiologic Technologist Radiographer (RTR) required. A minimum of two years full-time clinical experience required.

Possess and demonstrate a high level of digital imaging and patient care skills in general radiography, fluoroscopy, and emergency department (trauma) required.

Florida licensure as a General Radiographer required. Associate Degree required. CPR certification required.

Evidence and documentation of continuing education and professional development in radiologic sciences required.

 

Commitment to CF objectives of providing instruction for a diverse student population. 

Possess and demonstrate excellent interpersonal, oral communication and writing skills.

 

Experience as an instructor in a Joint Review Committee of Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program preferred. Specific experience in the clinical supervision, clinical instruction, and clinical evaluation / assessment of first and second-year students preferred. Experience teaching didactic radiography courses and / or labs preferred. Knowledge of JRCERT accreditation standards preferred. Active membership in American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) preferred. Knowledge of ASRT curriculum and ARRT Practice Standards preferred. Post-primary ARRT certification; in computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance (MR) imaging, or mammography (M) preferred. Knowledge of learning and assessment theories and methods and the relationship to the pedagogy of teaching in a competency-based curriculum preferred. Knowledge of program clinical affiliates and clinical personnel/staff preferred.
